Independent practitioners

Different approaches. Your choice.

Finding a counsellor is a personal decision. Alongside Reset’s own services with Rosa Stevens, independent practitioners bring their individual approaches and experience to the Reset space. Read their profiles and contact the person you feel comfortable approaching — you are choosing, not being allocated.

How this works

Independent practitioners are self-employed. They are not employed, contracted, supervised or clinically managed by Reset Life Coaching & Counselling Services. Each practitioner is responsible for their own practice, including bookings, fees, agreements, client records, confidentiality, safeguarding, professional registration and insurance. They do not work under Rosa’s professional registration.

Finding the right fit for you

Ask about relevant training and experience, who they work with, current fees and availability. Areas of developing interest are not the same as established specialisms. If your preferred practitioner is unavailable, you can consider someone else, but you do not have to accept an alternative.

The room at 35 Church Road is on the first floor, reached by stairs, and is not wheelchair accessible. Online appointments may suit your access needs. Sessions are face-to-face unless you email the practitioner to request online and they confirm the change.

Finding the right support starts with a conversation

You don’t have to know exactly what kind of support you need before you contact Reset. We can help you explore your options, understand what different practitioners offer and consider what may suit your circumstances, preferences and hopes.

Sometimes that means working with Rosa Stevens; sometimes another independent practitioner at Reset or a different service may offer a more appropriate approach. With your knowledge and agreement, we can discuss a possible introduction. You remain free to decide.

A general enquiry does not require Rosa’s £25 assessment. Each independent practitioner decides suitability and explains their own assessment, fees and working agreement. An introduction or assessment does not guarantee availability or ongoing appointments.
