Kathleen Cassidy

BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor

I'm Kathleen Cassidy, a BACP Accredited Integrative Counsellor working with adults from diverse backgrounds. I offer warm, collaborative support to people navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, grief, burnout and challenging life transitions.

I believe genuine human connection can be deeply restorative, offering us space to feel heard, understood and accepted. I'm also interested in supporting people through the emotional complexities of fertility, pregnancy and the transition to parenthood.

This opens your email app with a short enquiry ready to send. Kathleen manages her own bookings, fees, agreements and records independently — this does not book an appointment with Reset.

Approach

How Kathleen Cassidy works

Drawing on person-centred, CBT and psychodynamic approaches, I combine empathy with curiosity and gentle challenge to help people gain insight into themselves, make sense of their experiences and consider new possibilities. I'm interested in how our past experiences, relationships and wider social expectations shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. Counselling offers an opportunity to reflect, explore what matters to us and find ways of living that feel more authentic.

Finding the right support starts with a conversation

You don’t have to know exactly what kind of support you need before you contact Reset. We can help you explore your options, understand what different practitioners offer and consider what may suit your circumstances, preferences and hopes.

Sometimes that means working with Rosa Stevens; sometimes another independent practitioner at Reset or a different service may offer a more appropriate approach. With your knowledge and agreement, we can discuss a possible introduction. You remain free to decide.

A general enquiry does not require Rosa’s £25 assessment. Each independent practitioner decides suitability and explains their own assessment, fees and working agreement. An introduction or assessment does not guarantee availability or ongoing appointments.
